Nicola has a busy practice and specialises in claims arising out of professional and clinical negligence, commercial disputes and personal injury. She is frequently instructed by both claimants and defendants to appear in the County Courts and in the High Court. Nicola is also briefed to attend inquests and to represent professionals in regulatory and disciplinary tribunals.
Alongside her court work, she is instructed to draft pleadings and to advise in a wide range of matters relating to her principal areas of practice.
Nicola is instructed in a broad range of commercial litigation. She regularly advises and provides representation to clients on contractual interpretation and effect in a variety of commercial disputes.
Nicola receives instructions from both claimants and defendants in a broad range of professional negligence matters. She has particular experience in claims against solicitors but is also instructed in cases involving architects, valuers and financial professionals.
Nicola is frequently instructed in clinical negligence cases for both claimants and defendants. She is often required to draft pleadings and advise on merits and settlement. Nicola is also asked to attend inquests concerning the care and treatment provided by medical professionals.

Nicola has experience of both interim and substantive disciplinary hearings. She regularly represents nurses, both before the Health Committee and the Conduct and Competence Committee, however Nicola is also instructed to represent professionals in hearings before other regulatory bodies.

She frequently attends hearings and trials in County Courts and has significant experience with claims relating to road traffic accidents and contentious credit hire arguments.
