Christopher accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ practice. He acts in trials, interlocutory applications and CCMCs, as well as being instructed to draft pleadings and provide written advice.
Christopher joined Chambers in 2020, following successful completion of his pupillage under Heather McMahon, Imran Benson and Dr Peter Ellis. As a pupil he experienced a range of work in professional negligence, clinical negligence, personal injury, regulatory & disciplinary, costs and commercial law. Highlights included a visit to the Supreme Court with Theo Barclay in Lehtimäki v Cooper [2020] UKSC 33 and to the Court of Appeal with Imran Benson in Butler v Bankside Commercial [2020] EWCA Civ 203.
Prior to joining Chambers, Christopher graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge with a First in Philosophy. After completing the GDL and BPTC at City Law School, he worked as an advocate for LPC Law. In that role he appeared in over 250 hearings in the County Court, including applications for summary judgment and relief from sanctions, possession claims and infant approval hearings.
